Appointment Information

Call 410 433 8488.

Our main office is in Northern Baltimore City at The Village of Cross Keys and to better serve our Carroll and Howard County patients, we now have offices in Clarksville, Eldersburg and Westminster. See "Locations" for more information on each office.

In order to meet your needs, we offer morning, regular daytime, evening and Saturday hours at most of our locations.

To make an appointment at one of our locations, you may call any location or our main number of 410 433 8488.

If you are a new patient, we will send you a new patient information package. Please read the information carefully. You will be asked to complete a patient registration form and forward it to us prior to your visit. Upon your arrival, you will also be asked to read and sign a required privacy form. You will be asked to present a valid insurance card. If your insurance company requires a referral form from another physician, please be sure that you bring it with you to the appointment.

While we will do our best to shorten your stay, you should plan to be in our office for 2 hours during the initial visit and annual complete eye examinations. These appointments generally require the eyes to be dilated and additional time is needed for the drops to work effectively.

We recommend that you call 2 months ahead to make a routine appointment. Our practice is open to new patients. Emergency eye injury or urgent cases will be seen as soon as possible.

We understand that situations arise that will not allow patients to keep their scheduled appointment. However, in order to make our office flow smoothly for all our patients, we ask that you call our office 72 hours in advance to cancel and reschedule your appointment. If you do not call us and you miss your appointment, you may be charged a "No Show" fee. Likewise if you know you will be late for your appointment, please call us to let us know.

Lastly, co-pays are due at the time of the visit and are expected to be paid prior to being seen by the doctor. Dankner Fiergang Eye Associates accepts cash, personal checks (subject to a NSF fee), Visa and MasterCard credit cards, and Visa and MasterCard debit cards.
